Shenandoah National Park

I went to Shenandoah National Park with my family this past June and was impressed with it's beauty and wildlife. For more information about National Parks, including Shenandoah, check out this page from National Geographic.

Today I am focusing on the sky line drive through Shenandoah which featured stunning overlooks and abundant wildlife. Here are just a few of my favorite pictures. I hope you enjoy.

The deer got up close and personal.

There were so many hawks soaring everywhere.

Wild turkey crossing the road.

Scenic view of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Thanks for stopping by. Tomorrow I will share photos from a valley in Shenandoah National Park.

  2. Thank you. The hawks were so cool. There were a lot of them just soaring in circles. I felt this was one of my better photos from it.
