Great White Egret

I saw these Great White Egrets at Fermilab in Batavia, IL.

I find them such graceful birds and enjoy photographing them and just watching them wade, fish and fly.

To see additional Great White Egrets stop by The Shutterbug Eye or take a look at my Flickr photos for Egrets and other birds.

Thanks for stopping by.

  2. Thank you. These photos were taken with a Nikon D70 and a 200 mm lens. I really want a longer lens but this is working decent for me with birds like Egrets.

  3. These are very nice, you can tell it is a good camera just by how you can even see the reflection of the egret.

  6. Thanks, you can still get some good pictures with a point and click though for wild animals and birds a longer lense is preferable. But it was a point and click that got me started and some of my photos on this site and other places were taken with a higher end Kodak, not an SLR. That is what I started with and I still have and use that camera. :-)
