Starved rock State Park - Spiders

While many are fearful of eight legged creepy crawlies, myself included if they come in my house, I find them fascinating in their natural outdoor environment

There were many daddy longlegs and spiders as well as interesting webs.

I hope you enjoy.

Thanks for stopping by. Tomorrow will be focused back on the river and scenes around the river. If you would like to see more of my work, stop by my Artfire studio The Shutterbug Eye.

  1. Cool pictures... I agree that they are creepy, yet they are an amazing creature! Fasinating that such a little thing with all those legs can make such a strong, intricate web!!

  2. Thanks, I think they are pretty amazing too - as long as they don't invade my personal space. :-) I find the webs simply amazing and beautiful in their own way.

Have a wonderful weekend and thanks for stopping by.

  3. ...beautiful webs. Mother nature always knows what she is doing...

  4. Great picture. I love the first one. I wish I can take a picture like that.
