Flight

Today I share two photos of insects in flight. It is hard to get good captures of such small creatures moving.

Yellow jacket flies away from purple flowers


Carpenter bee leaving yellow flowers (there is also a smaller insect in the lower right)

  2. Thanks Kelly. It is hard to capture but if you find plants that are covered in bees and take lots of pictures you'd be surprised what you come home with. I never thought I'd refer to bees as "cute" but having gotten closer to them, they are cute.
