Fountain in the Esplanade

The pretty fountain above was in the Esplanade at the Chicago Botanical Gardens. After taking several photos it occured to me that I had the macro lens and so I thought I should use it.


I moved closer and took some photos. I'm thrilled with how the individual droplets were captured. So I moved in even closer.


The water almost looks like ice, frozen in time.
