New Years Eve - What did you do in 2009???

Today I am not doing my usual photo post.  Instead I thought it would be nice to look back on 2009, which has felt like a rough year, and share what I think my biggest accomplishments were.  I may share a few pics too.  Tomorrow I'll share my goals for 2010.

Here is the list in no particular order.

  • Passed the Series 7 Exam - I passed this in early Jan 2009 for work (I do compliance work at a financial firm when I'm not photographing things or posting blogs).  This is a huge exam (7 hours they give you) and very hard (most don't pass the first time) but I got an 87% on my first take.
  • Started and maintained this blog.  Yep, I have posted regularly, daily until just recent, to this blog since I started with my first post on June 16, 2009.  Wow!
  • Opened my online stores at Artfire, Etsy and 1000 Markets.  There may only be a few sales so far but it's more than I've done before.
  • My website http://www.theshutterbugeye.com
  • Finally had foot surgery on my right foot.  I'm still in recovery, but am allowed to start wearing shoes on that foot starting tomorrow.
So that's a short list of what I think are my biggest accomplishments of 2009.  I'd love to hear yours.
