Pretty red flower

So with my foot in healing mode going outside wandering the wilderness, or not so wilderness, has not been happening.  Instead I have taken to adding photoshop effects to some photos I already have.  Today I'm going to share some of those effects using one photo.

Here is the original with no effects.  If you like it, it's listed in my shops on ArtFire, Etsy and 1000 Markets.

Now I will share it after using a watercolor filter on it.  I think I like it.

Next I tried using the Fresco filter.  Similar to watercolor but more defined I think.

Last I used a neon glow and I think I used another one but now regret not taking notes.

So which one is your favorite??  I think I like the Fresco or maybe the Watercolor best.  Tomorrow I'll share a few fall photos I edited with textures and such.

  1. ::hugs:: I hope your foot will be ok soon so you can go take those beautiful winter photos!

I like the fresco flower (LOVE those edges!) and the watercolor background. But if I had to pick one, I'd pick the fresco (did I mention I LOVE those edges?) :D Great photo with or without effects!

  2. My favorite is the watercolor, I've tried using the fresco filter before and I never seem to like what I come up with, same with the neon glow but I haven't experimented too much with that one. I'm always bad at writing down what I do, someone will ask and I have no idea

  3. Thanks. I liked the fresco best followed by the watercolor as far as the filters go on this one.

mv - it snowed some this morning and I grabbed a few pics. Need to put them on the computer still but it's supposed to snow storm tomorrow night so I might wait and grab a few that morning (plastic bag my cast).

Ann - Thanks, I'm not good at writing down what I do. I tried to name the files accordingly. :-) I also am bad at writing down what I'm photographing (ie type of flower, or tree or whatnot)
