Struggling to post these days.

So I like having new posts daily.  Up until recently it has not been a problem but having had a cast or bandage on my right foot the past 5 weeks I don't have much new material and the new material I do have on my camera is still there because the holidays have me so busy.  I will be posting a few photos I took this summer today.  I just wanted to say that in the next few weeks I might not have a daily post, it may have to be less often.  I'll still post at least three times a week.  Then again, the compulsive side of me may get the better of me and materialize a daily post anyway but I need a break over the holiday I think.

For today, I am sharing some squirrels.  Ratty, these pics go out to you.  These were taken this past summer at Knock Knolls Park in Wheaton, IL.

Squirrel posed on a tree.  The water had morning fog still coming off it.

Here's a squirrel on a big branch

Enjoy your weekend.  I have a Christmas party tonight.  I am going to exercise my relaxed holiday schedule and take Sunday off.  Will my blog still be here when I return Monday??  I hope.  I sincerely appreciate everyone who visits here regularly.  Come by Monday for some Robin's at Knock Knolls Park.  After that I promise I will post new snow photos.

  1. Sorry you have a cast that is making things difficult for you! I certainly know what you mean about hectic schedules. We'll keep visiting!!
Have a Great time at your party!

    Cute squirrel pics :)

  2. Thanks Kerri, I just need to get through the holidays. I will still post regularly but thinking that maintaining two daily blogs might have been biting off more than I can chew. Of course once I go out hiking with a camera I'll come back with a month worth of daily posts. I just haven't been out in a while and ran out of Arboretum posts. LOL

  3. I like both of those squirrel poses for two completely different reasons. That pose in the first one is great. It takes clicking on the picture to see it right, and it's worth it. I like that with his little foot sticking out. The second has the light shining on him just right. I know what you mean about needing a rest. I very often feel like that. I usually try to take at least one day a week off from the internet. Sometimes nobody notices though because I still get my daily post in. I know when you have a chance to get more photos you'll feel rejuvenated.
