Spring Green

I will still read and check out different blogs but Entrecard had become too stressful and time consuming so while it was one of my biggest referring sites, I'm not sure it was really for the best. It also has a very high bounce rate. I'd rather have less hits on my blog but have those people be interested in what I am sharing.

The other change I am making here is that going forward I will be posting more from my flickr stream. I finally upgraded to pro and am putting large amounts of photos in flickr. This will make it quicker and easier to post things.

I will still feature my shops on Friday and I will do some more written posts but those will be more after a photo walk or trip somewhere - when I have more to say and share. By doing this, I can still share photos daily but it will reduce stress and hopefully give me more time to create.

For today, this spring photo is of the first little leaves on a bush in my yard. One of the first signs of spring I noticed. Have a great day!

  1. gotta love those first signs. I can relate to the Entrecard thing, it got to be more of a hassle than anything else. I kept it but don't drop unless I think of it and only on blogs I enjoy visiting

  2. Diane, love that shot. I'm happy to see that you'll be out and creating. That's what it's all about. Exciting changes.

  3. Ann - it got to be too much and I always felt like I should at least drop on the people who dropped on me but it got to be too much. And I already feel like I keep up with too many sites (blogger, etsy, facebook, flickr, twitter, zazzle, etc.) :-)

Joanne - thanks. I'm involved in some fun projects right now, mainly a Diptych project with the Female Photographers of Etsy. Just started - first diptychs are due Sunday.

  4. This kind of sign of spring is exactly what I look for while I'm out. One of my favorite things about spring.

  5. I am so excited spring is here, though today it feels like summer. I love it when I first see the green on a tree or bush or the first buds waiting to bloom.
