The Shutterbug Eye is now OPEN for business again after a nice month off. During that month, I traveled to the Black Hills in South Dakota. Stops included the Badlands, Custer State Park, Wind Cave, Devil's Tower and more. It was a truly inspiring trip and I am still processing the photographs that resulted.
You can find photos from this trip and all my other colorful, dreamy photography in my shop again. And for the month of September only, 50% of your purchase will go to a good cause. The Chicago Photography Center, the only not-for-profit photography organization of its kind in the Midwest offers classes, a gallery, one of the few remaining darkrooms, an outreach project to teach under-served communities and they host a film photography and darkroom class for Chicago high school students through the After School Matters program.
Now you can help Chicago Photography Center simply by purchasing one of my photographs. You can also do the following:
- Donate - any amount can help
- If you're in Chicago, take one of their classes and learn.
- If you're in Chicago, buy a ticket and attend the 10 year anniversary part Sept. 6.
- Or buy a photo from me at either The Shutterbug Eye or Dark Raven Photo and I'll donate half.
The Lookout - This is available in my shop and was on exhibit last year at
Chicago Photography Center's Dubious Quintette Exhibit.
I hope to see you in my Etsy shop soon. Don't forget to follow me on Facebook!
